Criminal Law
Our firm has experience in criminal prosecution and defence. We have been involved in the defending of persons charged with offences under the criminal code. Our firm was granted a fiat to prosecute criminal matters under the Failed Banks Tribunal Decree by the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
We were also involved in the decongestion of prisons, a programme initiated by the Federal Attorney General in a bid to provide legal representation for prisoners and decongesting the prisons. Our Managing Partner commenced her career in the office of the Directorate of Public Prosecution of the Lagos State Ministry of Justice. She has prosecuted several cases under the Criminal Code Act and the repealed Armed Robbery and Fire Arms (Special Provisions) Decree.
