We have acted for various organizations in the banking and finance sector. Our area of specialization includes the structuring and preparation of a variety of agreements, financial and other documentation for single or multi-currency denominated facilities for Nigerian and international banks. Particular attention is given to the creation and perfection of securities for these financing arrangements. Considerable in-house expertise and experience has been amassed in this area of the law, equipping us to effectively represent the interests of either borrowers or lenders in these transactions. We have also been successful in our debt recovery briefs on behalf of clients.

We provide advice in relation to the full spectrum of financial matters. We acted as Solicitors in respect of an export credit facility from the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China “ICBC” for one of Nigeria’s private telecommunications companies. Our scope of work included reviewing, revising, issuing legal opinions and giving incidental legal advice in connection with the buyer credit facility agreement.
